I have found a new partner in crime in my weight loss journey, and my baking adventures. Its name is True Lemon.
Why is True Lemon so rad? It is made from 100% natural ingredients and has no gluten, no sodium, no preservatives or colors. (Which makes it a better option than some of the other things I was adding to water to make water more exciting…)
It tastes delicious too. I carry a pack with me for my water bottles at roller derby practice.
And for baking, it rocks. I was out of lemon juice this summer while making peach jam, and it worked in a pinch. Even added it to my homemade hummus this morning because it was snowing and I was not about to risk life and limb to go grab lemon juice.

Does any place in Bellingham sell this stuff? I would love to try it. I have a hard time drinking straight water, and drinking enough fluids is the #1 thing that a person with 1 kidney should do to stay healthy. I drink a TON of herbal tea, but this could be a great alternative.
