He is a classically trained French chef and loves to teach people to cook. He has two years of culinary school under his belt, plus seven years of working in professional kitchens, plus four years of putting up with me and my kitchen disasters.

This is me. I like to talk. I like to eat. I also like to learn how to cook. I also am not a bad cook. I bake like a fiend. I have a lot of years under my belt of watching my gramma and Mommy Dearest and other unsung home-trained culinary geniuses work their food magic. I also have a lot of scary horrible culinary disasters learning experiences in the kitchen.
So now that most of our “other issues” in life have mostly subsided, we have decided, after threatening to do so for quite some time, to start filming a video series.
We will cover knife skills and quick tricks in the kitchen, as well as things like how to make a proper hollandaise sauce that doesn’t break. I might tell bad jokes and Chef will be horribly charming.
We might even livestream us making dinner one night if that appeals to anyone.
Here’s where you come in. We need your help!
We need to hear from you what you want to learn, or what you want to see. Do you want a whole show on how to work with two people in the kitchen? Shall we do a segment on how to season a cast iron pan? Want me to spend an inordinate amount of time talking about roller derby while we cook?

I have found a new partner in crime in my weight loss journey, and my baking adventures. Its name is True Lemon.
Why is True Lemon so rad? It is made from 100% natural ingredients and has no gluten, no sodium, no preservatives or colors. (Which makes it a better option than some of the other things I was adding to water to make water more exciting…)
It tastes delicious too. I carry a pack with me for my water bottles at roller derby practice.
